Martoccia Brunello di Montalcino

Brunello di Montalcino wines are strictly regulated.  They are produced of 100% Sangiovese grapes and must be aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two years. 

Martoccia Brunello di Montalcino ages for 36 months, part in Slovenian oak and part in French oak barrels.  It spends an additional 6 months in the bottle. Brunello is a full-bodied wine with extraordinary elegance and concentration obtained from its long ageing process.  The full and airy fragrance showcases hints of wild berries, black cherry, and vanilla.
