Veglio Michelino e Figlio's Moscato d'Asti is made from 100% Moscato grapes and is produced in Langhe-Asti, Piedmont. Grapes are harvested between the first and second weeks of September before going through a soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wines from which this wine is produced are cultivated in the town of Serralunga d'Alba, where the western exposure combined with the characteristics of the land, allow the grapes to ripen to an intense bright yellow. The wine paints a picture of the sweet, succulent grape bunch from which it is derived. It contains intense aromas reminiscent of freshly-picked grapes. Veglio's Moscato d'Asti is a sweet white wine that is great for concluding a meal or drinking with dessert. It is best served between 46-50° F.
